MenSCs ameliorate alveolar epithelial barrier dysfunction in ALI. (A) LPS-induced increases in lung permeability were markedly attenuated after MenSC treatment. (B) Relative mRNA expression of tight junction proteins in the lungs of mice administered MenSCs in the presence of LPS was detected via qRT‒PCR. (C) Western blot analysis of the expression levels of the tight junction markers E-cadherin, Occludin, and Claudin-1 in lung tissue.
